         WELCOME TO AMERICA

Bairdstravel would like to thank the American people for making our
holidays in America so special . From the make believe of Disney,
the buzz of the Big Apple ,the thrill of Vegas to the beauti of the GrandCanyon.  The USA is a travellers dream.

The United States of America (commonly referred to as the United States, the U.S., the USA, or America) is a federal constitutional republic comprising fifty states and a federal district. The country is situated mostly in central North America, where its forty-eight contiguous states and Washington, D.C., the capital district, lie between the Pacific and Atlantic Oceans, bordered by Canada to the north and Mexico to the south. The state of Alaska is in the northwest of the continent, with Canada to its east and Russia to the west across the Bering Strait.

The state of Hawaii is an archipelago in the mid-Pacific. The country also possesses several territories, or insular areas, in the Caribbean and Pacific

Did you know Tennessee is bordered by 8 states: Alabama, Arkansas, Georgia, Kentucky, Mississippi, Missouri, North Carolina and Virginia - more than any other in the US?

On 12 January 2009, UK travellers to the US under the Visa Waiver
Programme (VWP), which allows most British Citizen passport holders
to visit for up to 90 days without a visa, will require an authorisation
via the Electronic Systemfor Travel Authorisation (ESTA) prior to
boarding a carrier to travel by air or sea to the US.
Travellers can register for authorisation online
through the ESTA website at https://esta.cbp.dhs.gov
and are advised to do so at least 72 hours prior to travel.
See the Entry Requirements section for more details.

Did you know Ralph Lauren's original name was Ralph Lifshitz?
Did you know the Hawaiian alphabet has 12 letters?
Did you know Coca-Cola originally contained cocaine?
Did you know the first Burger King was opened in Florida Miami in 1954?
