5 CAPITALS TOUR OF EUROPE
A few years back Bairdstravel had the pleasure of joining a Wallace Arnold
Five capitals tour of Europe. It was superb .Taking us to many wonderful places . It was called the five capitals of Europe but it also showed us other special places on route.

SUMMER1982 Photo`s a very weak in quality but it was a few years ago.
AMSTERDAM
Our time in Amsterdam was wonderful staying in a canal side hotel. The
atmosphere in Amsterdam is something special. We had tons of spare time to wander the streets. Yes we did walk into the Red light area . Which was fun
and never felt theatened. Although being with my wife it was strange that girlsbother to talked to me.Amsterdam is an unusual city in that it has all the advantages of a big city – culture, history, food, entertainment, good transport – with relatively few of the disadvantages: it is physically small, beautiful, relatively quiet, and largely thanks to the canals, has relatively little traffic.
5 CAPITALS OF EUROPE
CANAL TRIP IN AMSTERDAM
Waterways, shaded by leafy green, reflect five centuries of architectural glory…. To this very day a walk through the narrow streets of Amsterdam gives the walker glimpses between buildings that have inspired generations of artists.
We were taken to a diamond factory which was cool . After our stay in Amsterdam we head to Volendam .
VOLENDAM
Volendam is a very quaint town that is right on the sea with fresh fish stands all along the sea road.We loved our short time there.
BRUSSELS
Brussels is the capital of Belgium and the administrative centre of the European Union. This has earned the city the title of the Capital of Europe. Brussels has been given its character by the coexistence of French and Flemish culture, and it is nowadays home to nationalities around the world, adding a cosmopolitan flavour to its atmosphere. The vibrant atmosphere of Brussels is further enhanced by picturesque medieval streets, lively squares, beautiful boulevards, impressive monuments, spacious parks, cosy cafés, interesting restaurants and an active cultural life.
RHINE CRUISE AT THE LORELEY
The Loreley, a blonde siren, would sit on the rock here at the Rhine's narrowest point and lure sailors to their death with her beguiling song and mysterious beauty. This legend has been passed down through the ages. And there is still a Loreley, although she is no longer in the business of enticing people to their death.
LUXEMBOURG
The Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, a constitutional monarchy, is an independent sovereign state, tucked between Belgium, France and Germany
